VITAL represents Videoconferencing to Improve Teaching and Learning. Through the VITAL program, HCC Coleman Collge for Health Science student is given the opportunity to take one of our many nursing programs throughout the Houston area. Here are a few items we are working on to provide our students, faculty and staff in the very near future.

Live streams of VITAL classes are being developed
Lecture Capture for student development is currently under development. Unlike traditional Lecture Capture series, VITAL Lecture Capture (VLC) will encourage multi-media design and tantalize the senses with an assortment of effects throughout the presentation. VLC will be unlike anything you’ve seen from traditional lecture capture programs.
A 2nd VITAL room at HCC Coleman College is currently under development. Room 437 will soon be VITAL enabled and begin broadcasting classes to our various family of classrooms across the District. Look for construction to begin in Spring/2013.
We are beginning partnerships with larger institutions who have videoconferencing enabled faculties for future relationships benefitting everyone on campus. Stay tuned.
